According to Adam and Moses and Krishna, Jesus, Mohammad and Baha’u'llah, there appeared nine manifestations of God to Earth in the past 6000 years. These are the great independent prophets, or “mouthpieces of God” who appeared progressively over time to educate and spiritually edify and ultimately unify all mankind.
I want to share some details of this plan, called “Progressive Revelation.” These are the nine prophets of God and some interesting information about each. I hope you glean from reading and understanding what follows.

There is a very interesting, and heated, discussion about the Wilmette Baha’i lawsuit against the BUPC, over the right to use the word “Baha’i” in our teaching efforts. I am sure you will find some good Baha’i q&a here:

You can come back here and discuss the topic also.

Yo, Victor! There is a new category here called “Victory” and it is one way to address all those who think they can delete your voice online. Comments are enabled.
Maybe you want to set things up for us first and tell how we got to this point…

This year, 2008, Dreamtime celebrated her 7th anniversary. Dreamtime is a uniquely Colorado festival in Paonia.
After the Rainbow Gathering, I got a hold of the management at Dreamtime and they scholarshipped us for a “Prophecy Campus” at Dreamtime 2008. The timing was sweet and no one can say there isn’t spontanaety at Dreamtime. This festival is small but real sweet. Victor and Josiah joined me, and together we built a little shanty shelter and set up a stove and a lantern and that big orange tent. It was windy in the am but the fort was strong and held up to all weather.
We were listed in the Dreamtime schedule booklet for three talks. We actually did five talks. Read the rest of this entry »

This year my son asked if we could go to the National Rainbow Gathering, since it was just one state away. So we went. We set up a camp at Kid Village and plugged in helping the kitchen and organic community that was happening there. Every thing was super chipper. But on July 3rd, there was an incident in Kid Village. Every person at that Gathering was peaceably assembled as guaranteed their right by the first Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America! Read the rest of this entry »

A guest has asked for an interpretation of the Tribulation Bible verse in Matthew in the Gospel?
I’ve been travelling and there has been some comment discussion as I had already asked before I departed for travel, what others thought the verse means. Finally, I am getting to this. Thank you for your patience, I will annotate my answers in <> as I edit this original post. ‘Abd’ul-Baha said there are 72 two meanings to every verse. This is what I believe the tribulation verses mean. I’ll start with the verses, then explain them:
29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Immediately after the tribulation <Tribulation is same as a test or oppression> Read the rest of this entry »

I was milling through some stuff that I thought was lost after my last move and I found this article I wrote back in 1995. It is pretty good stuff and really, really digs into the authority, or lack there, of the Hands of the Cause under the guardianship of Shoghi Effendi.
I hope you enjoy the read. Feel free to talk about it in the blog thread also. Here is the link to:

Messiah ben Joseph and Messiah ben David
The Bible says that there would be two Messiahs.
The definition of the word “Messiah” is: An Anointed Male Lineal Descendant of King David.
In Judaism, these two Messiahs are titled “Messiah ben David” and “Messiah ben Joseph.” Ask any Rabbi.
The first one Read the rest of this entry »

AMIT-ABHA
A guest has requested a discussion about Amit-Abha. Baha’is understand that Amit Abha is Baha’u'llah, as he wore the red robe, and as He is the 5th Manifestation of God after Gautama (Sanskrit; Pali: Gotama), Siddhartha (Sanskrit; Pali: Siddhattha). “Amit” means “Infinite” and “Abha” means “Light” or “Glory.” Baha’u'llah’s Revelation comes directly from God (the Infinite Absolute One), as it did for Jesus and Moses and Mohammed and Zoroaster and Krishna and Buddha and Adam and the Bab. We just celebrated the 12th day of Ridvan. These 12 days are in celebration of the the 12 days Baha’u'llah spent in the Garden of Roses in Baghdad culminating in His proclamation in 1863. We had a great feast, lots of Baha’is showed up, including the Guardian, Neal Chase. There were excellent readings and prayers and a sweet presentation. The food, both spiritual and physical, were delicious.
Here is a link to the Proclamation of Baha’u'llah.

I have added a category for Baha’i Faith writings. There are two works added to start with. They are Baha’u'llah’s Kitab-i-Ahd, and the Will and Testament of Abdu’l-Baha. Together, these two documents comprise the Covenant of the Baha’i Faith. You can navigate to the Baha’i Writings page from the link to your left or click on this link to access the Baha’i Faith writings new hub page.
If you would like to suggest other writings, send me an email and I’ll try to get them in the list and uploaded.
