There are numerous reasons why Baha’is don’t accept the commonly held belief that Jesus is God. We do of course believe in Jesus, and the Bible. This is only commonly held among Christians I should say. Muslim believe in him, too. They’re even awaiting his return. But, like the Baha’is, Muslims do not believe he’s God, or in the Trinity. So maybe it’s not the most commonly held belief worldwide, but a whole lot of Christians believe this despite his vehement protest to the idea in the Gospels.
