Easter? Happy Resurrection Day
I was talking with a Christian today and she said she was celebrating Easter with her family. I asked if she was going on an Easter egg hunt. She said yes and asked If I was also?
I said I hadn’t since I was a child.
I mean why celebrate 5000 year old holiday with eggs and rabbits, which are both symbols of fertility worship and all on a day that is named after Ishtar, the pagan goddess of fertility?
I bid her a good day and pulled out my Bible to read about the resurrection. Of course, since Jesus said that he only spoke in parables, I read the resurrection as a parable, the way Jesus on his return taught me to do.
My conclusion is that I am so grateful that after 72 hours of denying Jesus, the body of Christ, his apostles (see Ephesians 1:22-23) on Sunday night they did resurrect, realizing that he was not the (see Luke 24:21) “reigning Messiah” of Isaiah 9:6-7 (that’s Baha’u'llah, the return of Christ, who has redeemed Israel as the founder of the Baha’i Faith) but that he was the “sufferring Messiah” of Isaiah 53! For had not the true Body of Christ (his church, the believers) resurrected, today we would not even be able to read the Gospels that they penned nor would we be able to recite the Lord’s Prayer for the Kingdom of God on Earth!
Here is a great video explaining the true meaning of the resurrection parable.
Happy Resurrection Day!

Did Jesus ONLY speak in parables?
